Before school
For those students who need to arrive earlier than 8.45am, the following arrangements are in place:
- Outside School Hours Care is available from 6.30am
- Students arriving prior to 8.15am must sit in the undercover area outside the year six building.
- At 8.15am the bell will signal “walk and talk” and handball games can be played in the undercover area; the forecourt and basketball space; and on the artificial grass between A and C blocks. Students can also choose to remain in the undercover area.
- At 8.30am, the bell will signal that students can move to wait outside their classroom. For Prep students, there will be a quiet activity available for them on the classroom verandah at this time. The doors to the classroom will open by 8.45am.
- The doors to the classroom will open by 8.45am.
- The playgrounds are closed in the morning – even for those children with parent supervision. Both the Prep-Year one playground and the playground on the oval are closed before school. The vegetable gardens are also closed before school.
After School
Students should be collected as soon as possible after 3.00pm unless students are involved in an after school program. If students have not been collected by 3.30pm, parents will be called to arrange appropriate supervision.
